Aston Martin Vulcan to make its dynamic debut soon at starting 16.58 crore

Aston Martin’s most extreme production model to date, the Vulcan, will make its dynamic debut at the forthcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed. The 800bhp-plus supercar was previously seen at the New York Motor Show earlier this year.

The 320kmph-plus creation which is available for track-only use will be on display in the Supercar Paddock before its small number of runs up the famous Goodwood hill with Aston Martin Racing Works driver Darren Turner over the course of the Festival weekend.

Built around the revised version of the One-77’s carbon fibre monocoque chassis, the Vulcan will be produced in a limited run of just 25 cars. The Vulcan gets an FIA-approved stiff roll cage, a rear limited slip differential and pushrod suspension system with adjustable dampers and sway bars, which should make it one hell of a track handler.

The Vulcan is powered by a naturally aspirated 7.0-litre V12 engine, which produces in excess of 800 horsepower. This power is kept under a leash with the help of an advanced variable traction control system.

The Vulcan is a track-only model like the McLaren P1 GTR and the LaFerrari FXX K. With prices starting at an astronomical Rs 16.58 crore, deliveries are expected to commence by the end of this year.
